Open-source dataset for COVID-19 - available in the NLU
As part of our mission to do what we can to support the efforts to keep the public informed about the ongoing pandemic and help flatten the curve, we're releasing both the Danish and English versions of our open-source dataset for COVID-19.
This means that in both new and existing bots, you will be able to easily activate the dataset in your NLU Dashboard to give your bot(s) the ability to identify if your customers are requesting information that pertains to COVID-19.
With this dataset activated, the bot can recognize 57 different intentions related to COVID-19, and we are continuing to expand this, as well as add support for other languages.
To all those who contributed their time and effort to add the training data for this dataset, we thank you.

Improvements to the styling options of the BotXO Widget
In this release, we've included some new changes for the styling options of the BotXO Widget.
We've expanded the font size and line spacing selection fields to allow you to customize the content of your bot to your exact specifications. In the world of UX, size does matter.
We've also added the ability to customize the colour of links. If you're tired of the old-school generic blue colour for links, this one's for you.
We've added a button to Bot Settings that allows you to reset all your Widget settings to default.
Our CEO Henrik Fabrin, along with Darren Parker from Zendesk, Martin Kõiva from Klaus, and David Birchmier from Tymeshift will be talking about trends and future projections for businesses in these uncertain and fast-evolving times.
In this webinar, we'll be talking about:
📌 the increasing demand for AI-based solutions
📌 how technology can propel companies forward in their digitalization efforts
📌 how fast-track implementation is crucial in these times
📌 how teams have adjusted to working from home
📌 how companies can become more agile to fluctuating customer demand
On the menu today, we have a selection of webhook templates for the platforms Salesforce and Surveypal.
The first webhook template is Salesforce Get Access Token, which allows you to fetch the access token needed to be able to fire webhooks to perform actions on the Salesforce platform. It saves the access token returned from the webhook response as a custom variable so that you can use it in subsequent webhooks without additional configuration.
The second webhook template is Salesforce Create Lead, which uses information supplied by a user in the conversation to create them as a lead on the Salesforce platform. Leads are people who are interested in your product and/or service. They are a precursor to contacts and represent a prospect which needs following up business-wise.
The third webhook template is Surveypal Get Survey, which allows you to fetch information for a given survey on the Surveypal platform. The webhook template also automatically saves two different types of links to the survey as a custom variable, which you can use in the conversation flow of your bot.
Psst! If there's a specific platform that you'd like us to integrate with, don't hesitate to contact us.
As always, we've been fixing some things to make your life a little easier:
In some specific cases, empty messages would be displayed in the Inbox.
The show/hide function for Groups was not working as expected.
Users would receive an error message when clicking on the Persistent Menu tab in Bot Settings.
When selecting the same condition that's already selected in Connections, an error message would be displayed.
Known bugs:
After setting the value of a custom variable in a module, the value of the custom variable is unable to be printed in a Bot Message after going through a Global Connection.
In Connections, when evaluating the values of the custom variables returned by a webhook fired in the same module, the status of the webhook is not displayed in the Debugger.
Custom Groups, when created and changed by the Bot Operator, will default to the original name and colour.
Please see our known bugs article for a list of unsolved long-term bugs.
